About Us

We are a family owned business, with 8 individual toy stores across the South East. We are looking for an Assistant Manager who will support the Manager in the daily running of the store and will take responsibility in the Manager’s absence.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in Retail Management and have the daily enthusiasm to drive and motivate their team to ensure everyone provides a first-class customer focus.



About The Role:
• You will already be either a competent Retail Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a larger store looking to progress in your career and able to get the most from your team, your customers.
• You will be pro-active and see beyond the daily duties, able to motivate your team to achieve more than the norm.
• You should enjoy working with children and their parents, have a tolerant manner and always be looking to do more for everyone that visits the store.
• You genuinely love working with customers, able to generate an exciting environment for them to shop in, ensuring that they come back to your store every time.
• You will be able to turn complaints into positive experiences, have strong communication skills, and lead from the front to meet team objectives.
• You will have the highest expectations of all-round store standards.
• You will have visual merchandising experience and be able to think creatively/’out-of-the-box’.
• You will have basic IT skills including MS Office and be able to competently use an EPOS system.
• You will have experience of cash handling / transaction reporting.
• You will have experience with stock management and be able to monitor your stock closely to achieve the best sales possible.
• You are open to new ideas and can embrace a business model that most companies have forgotten.
• Training will be provided with regular catalogue updates to ensure that both you and the team can provide customers with knowledge and matching products to requirements.

Hours will be 5 days a week 9-5:30 and will include a weekend day.
