The Beacon Launches Community Support Guide to Help Residents Access Essential Services
The Beacon is proud to launch a new Community Support Guide, providing Eastbourne residents with an easy, one-stop way to access vital local and national support services.
From mental health and wellbeing to financial guidance, housing, bereavement support, domestic abuse help and food assistance, the guide brings together a wide range of services to help people navigate difficult times. It also highlights council-run “warm spaces” where residents can stay safe, warm and connected with their community.
Mark Powell, General Manager said:
“The Beacon has always been about supporting our community. This guide makes it simple for anyone to find the help they need – whether it’s advice, a listening ear, or a safe space to come together. No one should have to face challenges alone.”
Copies of the Community Support Guide are available throughout The Beacon, with residents encouraged to drop in to Gather, pick up a copy and explore the many ways the centre and its partners can provide support and connection to those in need.
