Visitor’s Code of Conduct

We’re committed to making your experience with us as welcoming as possible. With that in mind, we have a few simple rules that we ask everyone to follow.

  • The wearing of ski masks, hoods up and helmets is not permitted. We welcome the use of face coverings for medical and religious reasons.
  • The riding, pushing or carriage of bikes, rollerblades, scooters or skateboards is not allowed. However, pushing of bikes is permitted.
  • Intimidating behaviour of any kind towards other visitors, our staff or our retailers is not acceptable.
  • No swearing, shouting or use of any unpleasant language.
  • No throwing of objects.
  • Any act of vandalism towards property belonging to us, or our retailers, will be dealt with accordingly and the local police informed.
  • Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave.
  • Alcohol may only be consumed within licensed premises.
  • Do not smoke or vape in enclosed / covered areas.
  • Groups deemed too large or disorderly by The Beacon will be asked to leave.
  • Shirts / tops and footwear must be worn at all times.
  • Any person either bringing, selling or taking any illegal substance, or drugs paraphernalia within The Beacon will be reported to the police immediately.
  • Only registered assistance animals allowed.
  • No leafleting, canvassing, conducting third party interviews or surveys, no selling goods, busking, film crews, commercial filming or photography on any part of The Beacon’s property without advance agreement by Centre Management.
  • The Beacon reserves the right to deny anyone access.

These premises are protected by CCTV 24 hours a day. CCTV cameras are located in mall areas, lifts, car parks and service areas. Images are being monitored and recorded for the purpose of crime prevention, detection, investigation and prosecution of offenders and are also used for public health and safety purposes.
